What We Believe
Community Life Church is a part of the Greater Ohio District of The Wesleyan Church. Our beliefs are summarized below. However, if you would like to find a more detailed outline of our beliefs, please click "Learn more".
We believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.
We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit.
We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
Community Life Church was first located on Vine Street closer to the downtown area of Cincinnati. The building was purchased, and a church was organized in 1936 as Vine Street Wesleyan Methodist Church. The church congregation grew, and in 1963 they relocated to Colerain Township, close to the city of Mt. Healthy (a suburb of Cincinnati). The current facility was built at 2407 Adams Road in 1964 and was dedicated on Sunday, April 11, 1965, as Northview Wesleyan Church. The people of Northview continued to cultivate a deep concern for each other and for those who are our neighbors. On July 12, 2015, we changed our name to Community Life Church in order to more accurately our vision for the city of Cincinnati. As we look toward the future we are convinced that our commitment to inspire faith, restore hope, and cultivate love will change us and change the community where we live, work, and worship.
